Registered in 1991 under the Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, HOPE Foundation began as an urgent human response to poverty in the urban settlements of Kolkata and Delhi. Over thirty-four unbroken years, it has matured into a nationwide development institution operating across 12 Indian states.
